General Info

Location, dates & opening hours

Lago Lago is a multi-day festival taking place at Stroombroek in Braamt (Gelderland) from Friday 26 June to Sunday 28 June, 2025.

The festival site opens on Friday at 10:00 and all accommodation types can check in from this moment. For bungalow stays, there is an early check-in option on Thursday evening. Everyone must check out again on Monday morning. For more detailed information per accommodation type, see our Accommodation FAQ section.

Programming starts Friday around 11:00, and on Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 in the morning. Music continues until 04:00 on Friday and Saturday night, and until 23:00 on Sunday.

Traveling by public transport or festival shuttle

Travelling by public transport? Take the train to Doetinchem. From there, take bus 24 towards ’s-Heerenberg and get off at Stroombroek, Braamt.
From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the Lago Lago South entrance (Landal side).

Prefer a direct festival shuttle? Buses will run from Amsterdam and Utrecht straight to Lago Lago.

Return bus from Amsterdam Central Station

  • Departure: 09:15
  • Arrival at Lago Lago: 11:15

Return bus from Utrecht Central Station

  • Departure: 10:00
  • Arrival at Lago Lago: 11:15

Tickets are limited, so don’t wait too long if you want to take the bus.

We’ll share more details about the festival shuttle as we get closer to the event.

Travelling by car or camper

Coming by car? Navigate to “Lago Lago North” in Google Maps — this is the parking area.
A parking ticket is required (available in our ticket shop). From here, it’s roughly a 10–20 minute walk to the campsite.

Got spare seats or looking to ride-share? We partner with Slinger — offer or request a ride through the link.

Staying in a bungalow? Navigate to “Lago Lago South” in Google Maps. The number of cars allowed per bungalow differs by type — please check yours. Any additional cars must park at Lago Lago North and need a parking ticket.

Staying in a camper or caravan? Navigate to: Lago Lago South (Campo 4 & 5), or Lago Lago West (Campo 3) depending on your ticket. You’ll receive detailed arrival instructions by email before the festival.

Main entrance: Lago Lago North

Lago Lago North is the main entrance for guests arriving by car.
Here you’ll find:

  • Visitor parking (no campers)

  • Kiss & Ride

  • Taxi drop-off

First, you’ll collect your weekend or day wristband at the wristband desk. You’ll also receive your deposit token and festival booklet here. No need to bring your luggage at this step.

Once wristbanded, proceed to bag check. Note: You can only go through security once with your luggage. Make sure to bring everything from your car in one go.

Pack smart — don’t bring more than you can carry.
A trolley or wagon can be very useful.

There is also a camping store onsite with practical items such as air mattresses, camping chairs, party tents, and more.

Entrances: Lago Lago South and Lago Lago West

Lago Lago South is the entrance for:

  • Guests arriving by public transport or festival shuttle

  • Bungalow guests

  • Local neighbours arriving on foot, by bike, or public transport.

  • Campers on Campo 4 &5

Lago Lago West is the entrance for:

  • Campers on Campo 3 only

Cashless festival

Lago Lago is a cashless event. Payments can be made everywhere with your debit or credit card. Cash is not accepted.

Sustainability

For the past four years, Lago Lago has been part of the Green Deal Circular Festivals — a collaboration between the Dutch government and fifty European festivals to develop a blueprint for circular festival industry. During Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 this blueprint has been completed and shared.

The blueprint focuses on five themes: energy, food & drink, materials, travel & transport, and water.

These themes have guided Lago Lago from the very beginning, and each year we take further steps to integrate them further. Our long-term goal: a fully circular festival by 2028.

What this means for you

  • You’ll receive two waste bags at check-in: deposit and residual
  • All drink containers bought at the event use a deposit system
  • No plastic water bottles are sold — you can refill your own bottle
  • The entire food offer is vegetarian

How you can help

  • If you’re coming from Amsterdam or Utrecht, hop on the tour bus – it drops you off right at Lago Lago Zuid, closer than the entrance and giving you a head start on finding the perfect spot by the beach.
  • Driving? Share your ride via Slinger –  a fun way to meet new friends
  • Not driving electric? Consider contributing to Trees for All — together we are planting 2,500 trees (the first two forests are already growing!)
  • Leave no trace — do not leave camping gear or belongings behind

What happens behind the scenes

  • We use battery systems and are investing in fixed power infrastructure to reduce generator use
  • Shower water is filtered and reused to flush toilets
  • We work with local suppliers (within 50 km) to reduce transport impact
  • All waste streams are sorted for proper recycling
  • We invest in reusable structures, like stages designed to last multiple years

Swimming

Take a refreshing swim in the Lago Grande in the morning or during the day — but always within sight of the lifeguards. Swimming is allowed between 09:00 and 21:00 to help prevent unsafe situations.

Swimming in Lago Picco is unsafe and therefore prohibited.

Facilities

Terme

Recharge in our expansive sauna complex with Lapland-style saunas, Finnish kotas, aufguss sessions, outdoor pools and more. Swimwear bottoms are required; tops are optional.

To visit the Terme you’ll need to book a time slot via our Lago Lago festival app — launching later.

For Friday sessions, booking opens on the Monday before the festival. Saturday and Sunday slots go live during the festival: from Friday 12:00 for Saturday, and from Saturday 12:00 for Sunday.

Ristorante

Fancy a long, indulgent meal at Lago Lago? Our Ristorante, set on the festival grounds with views over Lago Grande, serves a luxurious multi-course menu with wine pairings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Reserve your table on this website as soon as bookings open.

Food & drinks

All food trucks on the festival site are high quality with a broad vegetarian offering and plenty of gluten-free options. There’s also a campsite shop, but it’s not a supermarket and mainly carries non-food essentials.

Bars across the site offer a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Drinking water

Once again, no plastic water bottles — instead, chilled still and sparkling tap water is available at the bars. Dutch tap water is top quality, so there’s no need to haul pallets of plastic.

Providing water at a festival isn’t trivial: with 2.5 km of piping, cooling and taps, it’s a serious investment. Together with Dopper and WaterSoul we’re making it happen — sustainable, affordable, and delicious.

How it works: Fill your own reusable bottle or hard cup with chilled or sparkling tap water for less than a bottled water at other festivals.

Drinking water is also available for free at the bathhouses on the campsite.

Lockers

Lockers are available to rent at Lago Lago. You can rent for the whole weekend or start from Saturday or Sunday. Book on site or online shortly before the festival.

Parking

Buy a weekend parking ticket in the shop in advance (€40) or a Sunday-only ticket (€20). The parking area is right next to the main entrance at Lago Lago North. You can also buy a ticket at the gate, but it’s more expensive.

Booked a bungalow? You may park up to two cars for free at the bungalow park (12-person bungalows: three cars; 16-person bungalows: four cars).

Lago Lago app

Our Lago Lago app is back this year. Before, during, and after the festival you’ll find up-to-date timetables, maps, and other handy info.

Download it as soon as it becomes available.

Tickets

Weekender tickets & day tickets

The best way to experience Lago Lago is to stay for the full weekend. Free camping on the campsite is included with your weekender ticket.
Weekender tickets cost €289 (excluding service fees).

Do not purchase tickets through third-party sellers (outside this website) except for our official partner TicketSwap, to avoid scams.

Day tickets

Day tickets are only available for Sunday. With a Sunday ticket you’re welcome from 09:00, and you may stay until the camping closes on Monday at 12:00.

There are exceptions for local residents — see the “Local Residents” section in this FAQ for more information.

Do not purchase tickets through third-party sellers (outside this website) except for our official partner TicketSwap, to avoid scams.

Accomodation

Free camping on the festival campsite is included with your festival ticket. Prefer staying in a bungalow, a pre-set tent, your own campervan, or would you like a reserved group camping area?

These options can be booked additionally. See the Accommodations page on this website and the Accommodation section in this FAQ for all options.

Lost your tickets?

Lost your ticket email? You can retrieve your tickets via this link.

Sealed tickets

To prevent fraud, tickets can only be downloaded shortly before the festival.

Want to sell your ticket? Open the confirmation email from Weeztix and click “Download tickets”. Scroll down to find the TicketSwap button. Once sold the buyer’s information is automatically applied to the ticket — even if you already personalized it.

Selling your ticket

If you can’t attend, sell your ticket safely via TicketSwap — we use SecureSwap.

Open the confirmation email from Weeztix and click “Download tickets”. Scroll down to find the TicketSwap button. After the sale, the new ticket holder’s name will be applied automatically — even if you already personalized it.

Note: Ticket selling is not yet available at this time.

Personalize tickets

All entry tickets must be personalized after purchase.

How it works: After purchasing one or more tickets, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Weeztix. When you click “Download tickets,” you will first be asked to personalize them. If you bought multiple tickets, you can either fill in the other attendees’ details yourself, or invite them via email to complete their own details.

After personalization, all tickets can be downloaded together or individually (remember: download is only available shortly before the festival to prevent fraud). Personalized tickets will be sent to the provided email addresses.

After personalization, your ticket is final. If you entered the wrong name, click here to correct it.

Plant a tree

Even with improvements, fully neutralizing the transport and logistics impact of Lago Lago remains a challenge. That’s why, together with our partner Trees for All, we plan to plant a forest of 2,500 trees, partly in the Netherlands and partly in tropical regions. This compensates collective emissions and contributes to a greener world. Want to help us grow this new forest? Add a €4 donation when purchasing your ticket.

Accommodation

Ways to stay overnight

There are several ways to stay at Lago Lago:

  • Pitch your own tent on the green lakeside campsite (camping is included with your festival ticket)
  • Book a comfortable bungalow — available for groups of 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 or 16 people
  • Reserve a group pitch on the campsite — a dedicated area for you and your friends, including electricity, seating and a 3x3m easy-up tent. Pitches are available in different sizes and locations.
  • Bring your camper, caravan or sleep-in vehicle — this requires a separate camper pitch ticket
  • Book a camper + group pitch if you want extra space for friends’ tents next to your camper
  • Stay in a pre-set tent, furnished with either air mattresses or real beds, for 2, 4 or 6 people

You’ll find full details on the Accommodation page.

Campsite facilities

The campsite stretches along the shoreline of Lago Grande, with no fences separating the campsite from the festival — it’s one continuous experience.

The campsite offers comfortable facilities, including flush toilets and hot showers with changing areas. You’ll also find a wellness area on site, complete with saunas and a swimming pool. Camping is included with every weekender ticket.

Bungalow facilities

All bungalows are detached and include a limited number of parking spaces. Inside, you’ll find a living room, kitchen, bathroom and a separate toilet. The bedrooms are furnished with single box-spring beds that can be placed together or kept apart, and come with linen, duvets and pillows. The kitchens are equipped with a dishwasher, combi-microwave, standard cookware and utensils, a fridge with freezer compartment, a kettle, a filter coffee machine and a stove.

The luxury bungalows include a private sauna and feature a more upscale interior.

Pre-pitched tent facilities

In the comfort setup, the tents are furnished with high-quality raised air mattresses with integrated pillows, fitted sheets, soft blankets, and a small lamp.

In the boutique setup, the tents come with real beds with mattresses and down bedding, throws, a lamp, a doormat, and chairs.

Pre-pitched tents do not have their own power connection.

Group pitch facilities

All group pitches consist of a reserved section of the campsite, so you and your friends don’t have to worry about finding enough space to stay together.

The comfort option is located on a pleasant field with shaded areas and includes access to power (up to 1350 watts), seating, and a 3x3m easy-up tent. The boutique option offers the same setup, but is situated directly on a small, private stretch of beach.

Check-in & check-out for accommodations

Check-in and check-out times vary per accommodation type:

  • Free camping, group pitches and pre-pitched tents: check-in from Friday 10:00.
  • Campers / caravans and camper + group pitches: check-in on Friday or Saturday between 10:00 and 22:00.
  • Bungalows: check-in on Friday or Saturday between 10:00 and 22:00.
Early check-in on Thursday between 18:00 and 21:00 is possible if arranged in advance.
  • Check-out is before Monday 10:00 for bungalows, and before 12:00 for all other accommodations.

Staying together

We understand that everyone wants to stay close to their friends. Below is what is and isn’t possible:

  • Camping next to bungalows is not allowed.
  • Camping next to a standard camper pitch is not allowed.
  • On a camper + group pitch, a limited number of tents can be added, as long as everything fits within the boundaries of the pitch.
  • Regular group pitches cannot be combined with campers or caravans.
  • On the free camping field, spots are allocated on a first come, first serve basis, unless you have booked a group pitch.
  • Multiple bungalows, pre-set tents or campers next to each other? These requests can often be accommodated at check-in, depending on availability. Campers (length, power), pre-set tents (type, interior) and group pitches (size, setup) can only be placed next to each other if they are the same type. Arriving early increases your chances!

Power on the campsite

If you are staying on the general camping field, it’s not possible to have power at your tent. Pre-set tents also do not have their own power connection (they do include a small LED lamp).

You can charge your phone at the camping store and in the washhouse buildings. There are also powerbank stations located throughout the site where you can rent or purchase a powerbank.

Group pitches do have their own power connection. Bring a long extension cable, and make sure everything is properly protected from water. Do not exceed 1350 watts. Only use equipment that is suitable for camping — large heaters, hairdryers or electric kettles are not allowed. Sharing or splitting power with neighbouring pitches is not permitted.

Power for campers

If you have a camper pitch on Campo 3, or a camper + group pitch on Campo 4, your spot includes access to a power connection. Camper pitches on Campo 5 do not have power.

You can connect using a regular power strip (bring your own) or a blue 16A CEE camping plug. We recommend bringing a long extension cable and making sure all cables and connections are protected from water.

Do not exceed 1350 watts. Only use electrical equipment that is suitable for camping — heaters, electric kettles, and hairdryers are not allowed. Sharing or splitting power with neighbouring pitches is not permitted.

Rules

House rules

Our house rules can be found here. Violating the house rules may result in removal from the festival grounds and accommodations. These rules are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Minimum age

The minimum age for Lago Lago is 21 years.

Bringing your own food & drinks

Weekender guests staying on the general camping, group pitches, pre-set tents or camper pitches may bring food for personal use and up to 4 liters of drinks per person when arriving on the event grounds (the campsite and festival area are one connected space). This total includes all liquid containers combined, both alcoholic (up to 15%) and non-alcoholic beverages.

Glass is not allowed anywhere on the event grounds, with the exception of small perfume bottles and essential medication in their original glass packaging up to a maximum of 50 ml.

The bungalow park is located outside the event grounds. When going to your bungalow, you may bring your own food and up to 4 liters of drinks per person (again, alcoholic up to 15% or non-alcoholic). Glass is allowed in the bungalows. However, you may not bring any food or drinks from the bungalow park into the event grounds. All food and drinks must stay inside the bungalows.

Guests with a day ticket cannot bring food or drinks onto the event grounds.
You may bring an empty reusable water bottle.

Entering and leaving the festival grounds

Please note that at the main entrance, you can enter with your luggage only once. Make sure to bring all your belongings from the parking area in one go.

If you are staying outside the festival grounds, you can enter and leave via the Lago Lago South entrance throughout the weekend. At this entrance only bike parking is available.

Social safety & code of conduct

At Lago Lago, we want to create a festival where everyone feels welcome, safe and valued. Our shared love for music, dance and art brings us together, and we work hard to foster an environment rooted in respect and inclusivity. Harassment, discrimination or any form of harmful behavior has no place here.

This Code of Conduct applies to everyone — visitors, crew, volunteers and anyone who interacts with us online. By taking part in Lago Lago, you agree to these principles and help prevent bullying, harassment and racism. Together we make sure everyone can be themselves and enjoy the festival. During the festival, there will be a general WhatsApp number where you can report incidents and reach our Social Safety Team. This number will be shared closer to the event.

Failure to follow the Code of Conduct may lead to actions ranging from a warning to removal from the event, or being banned from future editions.

Let’s make this a safe, respectful and unforgettable experience — together.

Guidelines

Zero tolerance for harassment
We do not tolerate any form of harassment or intimidation — whether at the festival or on our online platforms. This applies to behavior targeting someone based on their:

  • Race or ethnicity
  • National origin
  • Gender identity or expression
  • Sexual orientation
  • Age
  • Disability (visible or invisible)
  • Religion
  • Citizenship status

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Offensive or hurtful comments
  • Physical violence
  • Unwanted physical contact
  • Unwanted sexual attention
  • Taking unwanted photos or videos
  • Bullying or stalking

What can you do if you witness this?

  • Speak up if it feels safe to do so
  • Alert a crew member or go to the Social Safety Hub
  • Use the festival WhatsApp number to report the situation

Consent is essential

Respect and consent come first. Respect the other person’s boundaries and communicate clearly.

Consent must be enthusiastic and explicit — a clear yes means yes.
Consent can be withdrawn at any moment — even in the middle of a conversation or dance. If someone hesitates or doesn’t respond, that is not consent.

Accessibility & inclusion

We want our festival to be accessible to everyone. This includes:

  • Wheelchair-accessible facilities
  • A low-stimulus room (located next to First Aid)
  • Clear information about available facilities and personalized assistance where possible

If you need additional support, please let us know before the festival or speak to a crew member on-site.

Support for those affected

We are here for anyone who feels unsafe. When you report something:

  • Our Social Safety Team will listen without judgment and offer appropriate care and support — also for those indirectly affected
  • Every report is taken seriously
  • Anonymous reporting is possible

Responsible enjoyment
Festivals are for joy, connection and celebration — but we ask that you use alcohol and other substances responsibly. If you or someone around you needs help, our crew is here for you. Remember to protect your hearing and to take breaks to rest, eat and hydrate.

Respect for the environment
Help us keep the festival clean and sustainable. Use the waste stations, don’t leave anything behind, and return all deposit items to the bar or a collection point.

Collective responsibility
We all contribute to a safe festival atmosphere. If you experience or witness something disturbing:

  • Speak to a crew member
  • Ask to be connected with the Social Safety Team or directed to the Social Safety Hub
  • You can also send a WhatsApp message to the Social Safety Team (number shared closer to the festival)
  • Trust that our crew will act to de-escalate harmful situations

The Social Safety Hub
The Social Safety Hub is a dedicated space on the festival grounds for your emotional and mental well-being. It is located next to the low-stimulus room and First Aid. Here, you can:

  • Seek support if you feel physically or emotionally unwell or unsafe
  • Report incidents (anonymously if you prefer)
  • Talk with trained team members about your concerns
  • Medical emergencies should always go directly to First Aid.

Accessibility

Accessibility at Lago Lago

We believe it’s important that Lago Lago is accessible for everyone, including people with visible or invisible disabilities. In the sections below, you’ll find information about the facilities and support we provide.

If you have questions or specific needs, please email us at [email protected]. We’ll do our best to make your festival experience possible and comfortable.

Parking

Visitors who have difficulty walking, use a wheelchair, or for any reason find longer distances challenging, can park close to the main entrance. Please email [email protected] if you would like to make use of this option.

Entrance

If you are using a wheelchair and entering through the main entrance, please check in at the service desk so you can use the accessible entry lane.

If you are staying in a bungalow or on the campsite with a camper, you can enter through the corresponding entrances for those areas.

Accessibility of the festival grounds and campsite

The Lago Lago campsite is located around Lago Grande. There is a paved path that circles both the large and small lakes (shown as the dotted line on the map). The rest of the campsite consists of grass.

Stages
Almost all of our dance floors have either grass or a hard surface. The only exception is Cabana, our beach stage, which is located directly on the sand.

Terme
The spa complex is accessible for wheelchair users; however, the saunas themselves are not wheelchair-accessible. The saunas are small and arranged in a circular layout. If you are able to transfer from your wheelchair with assistance and are comfortable leaving the chair outside the sauna, you are welcome to use the sauna spaces.

Other facilities

Wheelchair-accessible toilets and bathrooms
There are five wheelchair-accessible toilets and two wheelchair-accessible bathrooms available at Lago Lago. The distance between each of these facilities is no more than 500 meters.

First Aid
The First Aid station is located in the center of the festival grounds. It has running water, electricity, a private space for changing clothes or pumping, and a refrigerator for storing medication or breast milk.

Low-stimulus space
Next to First Aid, you’ll find our low-stimulus room — a quiet space where you can take a break and decompress if things become overwhelming.

Social Safety Hub
Located next to both First Aid and the low-stimulus room, the Social Safety Hub is here for your emotional well-being. You can come here to rest or talk with our Social Safety Team, who are trained to offer confidential support.

Tickets for local residents

We’re grateful for the strong interest from our neighbours in the festival. For the upcoming edition, we will once again offer special ticket options specifically for local residents.

At the beginning of May, households in the surrounding area will receive a neighbourhood letter with details about the conditions and the personalised ticket options.
Please note: availability is limited — when it’s gone, it’s gone.

Zoned local resident policy

We use three zones, based on the level of impact the festival has on each residential area. This ensures clarity, transparency and equal treatment.

Your neighbourhood letter will clearly state which zone your address falls into and which ticket options apply.

Adjacent residents (±40 addresses)

Addresses that are directly next to the festival site and approach routes. These households receive free tickets, plus the option to purchase additional tickets at a very reduced rate.

Nearby residents (±600 addresses)

Residents within approximately 500–1000 meters of the festival. These households can purchase day tickets at a significantly reduced rate.

Wider area residents (±11,000 addresses)

Residents of the surrounding villages and towns. These households have access to exclusive day tickets with a local residents’ discount.
