Take a refreshing dip in Lago Grande in the morning or during the day, always within sight of the lifeguards. Swimming is allowed between 09:00 and 21:00 to ensure everyone’s safety.

Swimming in Lago Picco is unsafe and strictly prohibited

Just a short walk away, you’ll find the longest waterski cable park in the Netherlands. Using a cable system, you’re pulled across the lake — no boat involved — following a fixed circuit over the water.

Before taking part, you’ll put on a wetsuit and receive instruction from the on-site team. Beginners are guided through posture, starting technique, and safety; experienced riders can join the next round straight away. Wearing a helmet and impact vest is mandatory, and staff supervise the course at all times. Falling is part of the experience — simply swim back to the side and get ready to start again.

The cable park operates with fixed time slots. Reservations can be made online in advance or on-site, subject to availability. Participation is paid per session, and equipment rental is available.

A ride on the water quite literally creates distance from the bustle of the festival grounds. From the lake, you experience a different perspective on the stages, the beach, and the people along the shore.

It’s a simple yet meaningful moment: drifting, observing, not having to do anything at all. A brief pause in the program, with space for quiet and open views.
