Paquita Gordon

Paquita Gordon is a DJ, programmer, and art director who has been active in the international electronic music scene since 2008. Working from various European cities, she founded the collective AV-Netwerk, through which she performed in a wide range of locations and contexts.

In Italy, she initiated the cultural project Il Vulcano, where music, location, and experimentation came together through festivals and radio shows on islands such as Stromboli, Pantelleria, and Salina. Her work consciously moves beyond fixed formats, leaving room for collaboration and exploration.

As a DJ, Paquita Gordon has played at leading festivals and clubs including Terraforma, Dekmantel, Berghain Panorama Bar, De School, and Circoloco @ DC10. She has taken part in international tours with David August and recorded an exclusive mix for Resident Advisor in 2018.

Her DJ sets are played entirely on vinyl and follow two distinct directions: a more cosmic approach with influences from psychedelia, ambient, dub, and spiritual jazz, and a club-oriented style where house, techno, trance, and drum & bass come together. In both, rhythm and collective experience remain central.
